Terms and Conditions
- Travel time to and from the site.
- Professional and well-presented Engineers.
- Consumables & ancillaries (if agreed)
- Parking, travel & toll charges.
- An acceptance email or letter of intent both hold an equal instruction to a purchase order; this remains a binding agreement between you (the client) and Alu-Glaze & Door Engineers Ltd.
- We will charge for subsequent visits to the site for errors and delays caused by another party.
- An allowance has been made for standard working hours of 07:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday (unless costed and stated otherwise).
- Any works requested or commencing outside the above hours will incur additional charges.
- Credit account: we offer account facilities to commercial customers that use us on a regular basis and meet our strict credit criteria. Full or part pro-forma payment terms may be highlighted within the body of this document.
- Payment Terms: To be adhered to as stated within this Quotation. When accepting this Quotation, you are also agreeing to these terms.
- Exclusion of Door, Frame, Glazing, Infill Removal: The service does not include the removal of any door sash or glazing/infill.
- Exclusion of Parts Supply and Installation: The service does not include the supply and installation of any parts, materials, or ancillaries, except for lubrication and cleaning products
- Inspection Only Unless Otherwise Stated: Unless agreed in writing, the visit is for inspection, adjustments and lubrication only. Any parts or remedial works will require separate quotation and approval.
- Access Requirements: We require clear and safe access to the working area during the scheduled times. Delays due to site inaccessibility may be chargeable.
- Waiting Time: Engineer waiting time beyond 30 minutes due to client or site delays may be charged at standard labour rates.
- Urgent Repairs: If a system is deemed unsafe or non-compliant, we reserve the right to disable the system and notify the client of necessary repairs.
- Service Records: A digital or physical service record will be issued post-visit, including any advisories, faults found, or actions required.
- Photographic Evidence: We may take photographs for evidence of condition, faults, and before/after comparisons for internal and client reporting.
- Quotation Validity: All prices are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- VAT: All prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.
- Late Payment Charges: Late payments may incur interest and administration fees in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
